Ok, so this time, it’s my turn to post a placeholder. There is no way on Earth Kim could have done anything about the completion time on this one, my friends. Entirely because I finished drawing and inking this beast like, literally right now. In fact, I hope she is pleasantly surprised by the relative quality of this page given the lateness of the hour. I feel pretty satisfied with it. Now NEXT week’s page, I am sorta dreading… but that’s a story for another time.
Father Merrick learns the truth about cats, dogs and contracts with demons and familiars. Naturally, for being a pain in the butt, Caitlin uses her superior wit to further terrorize Father Dumbass… er, I mean Merrick, and we lead into the wrap-up of this moribund and strange opening chapter with a little “Scooby Doo-esque Wah Wah” to diffuse the tension in what was clearly Serious Business(tm).
Next week’s page will prove to be quit an interesting challenge, and given the time constraints, you’ll probably see my bare version before Kim ever has a shot to lay hands on it. I know, you guys totally prefer to see the pages complete. I certainly do too. Speaking of “bare”, nice shot of Moira’s ass, eh? I had to work especially hard placing the dialog so it is still evident that she is placing the mystery “box” on the table, and not just offering herself up to the Padre for no explicable reason. So, please enjoy your fanservice. You’re welcome.

Hi everyone! It’s a new year and we’re still kicking. Right now the main project of focus has been the “Lavenders” which is being drawn by the talented Keith W. and the first volume is written almost entirely by me with some creative input and additions by the series creator Michael Prokop. It updates on Tuesday/Thursday. Check it out at : http://www.lavendercomic.com/
Stay tuned to this space for updates!
Well, welcome to Salient Caligation 2.0… er, wait… 3? No! 4.58756! …or something. ^^;
I’ve lost count. But I aim to see this thing through to the end, or the meta end, or some reasonable facsimile thereof, and that’s all there is to it. I think Kim’s suffered enough slings and arrows from artists coming and going, to the website and host being in full rebellion. It’s time we defy Stevie Nicks and BREAK THESE CHAINS!
Ok, officially, I am rambling here. So I will just say this: I am very much looking forward to April when this bastard kicks off full-steam again. I hope you will all join us.
